 Aloe Gel

Localization, smell, and flavor
It is the filet of the inner part of the leaf. Almost translucent and not smudges. Its taste is slightly bitter and its smell is not unpleasant. The gel is photosensitive, very stable and it oxidizes very easily, but it can be preserved very well between 4 and 15 C, better inside the leaf.

Composition
Up to 99 % percent of the gel is water. Properly obtained, posses no aloins. It is mainly composed by:

Polysaccharides, enzymes, tannins, sterols, triglycerides, alkaloids vestiges, vitamins and provitamins, minerals, salts, organic acids, and amino acids.

Efects
It has no laxatives properties. It posses stimulative, antitoxic, antipyretic, antiacid, moisturizing, muscular tonic, and antiswelling, disinfectant and antimicrobial properties. It also posses vasodilator and analgesic properties, regulatory properties of intestinal mucus membrane, it helps healing the gastrointestinal ulcers, it has a neutralizing effect against the toxic wastes of microbial activity, it stimulate the immune system, it helps regenerates the tissue, and many other properties.

Contraindications
There are no any known contraindications to the use of the aloe gel.
